Durante el pasado mes de enero, alumnos de nuestro colegio participaron de una pasantía en Inglaterra y Francia.
El programa consistió en 3 semanas en el conocido internado “Harrow House College”, donde los estudiantes asistieron a clases de inglés con profesores nativos, excursiones, actividades deportivas y recreativas. Además tuvieron la posibilidad de vivir en un internado con jóvenes de distintas culturas.
Las excursiones realizadas fueron a Londres, Bath, Bourthmouth, Poole, Salesburry, Stone Henge y Porthmouth.
Durante la cuarta semana, los estudiantes atravesaron el Canal de la Mancha por Eurotunel (tren subterraneo) llegando a Francia (París), donde visitaron los lugares más representativos como la Torre Eiffel, el Arco del Triunfo, el museo Louve, entre otros.
El objetivo del programa es que los alumnos puedan practicar el idioma en un contexto real y estar en contacto con otras culturas.
Los alumnos participantes de este proyecto son Aylin Chen, Camila Fabbri, María José Romero, Ignacio Stuardo, Matías Silva, Cristian Lazcano, Pablo Alegre y Felipe Aravena, acompañados de la profesora de Inglés Andrea Robles.
Academia Iquique a través del Departamento de Inglés ya están trabajando para realizar la tercera versión de esta maravillosa experiencia.
Last January students from our school travelled in an Education Program to England and France.
The program was set on Harrow House College where students attended English lessons with native speakers, sports activities, excursions and they had the chance of sharing with people from different cultures.
The excursions were to London, Bath, Bourthmouth, Slaesburry, Stone Henge and Porthmouth.
The last part of the trip, the students went to France, Paris where they visited the most important monuments like Eiffel Tower, Louve museum, among many others.
The objective of this program is to give oportunities to practice the language in a real and meaningful context and also to be in touch with other cultures.
The students who participated in this version were Aylin Chen, Camila Fabbri, María José Romero, Ignacio Stuardo, Matías Silva, Cristian Lazcano, Pablo Alegre and Felipe Aravena, they went with Miss Andrea Robles, English teacher from our school.
Academia Iquique and the English Dep. are working in the third version of this wonderful experience.
